“JILL IS A PHENOMENAL, MESMERIZING PERFORMER, EQUALLY SPECTACULAR AT WRITING, IMPROVISATION, COMEDY, CLOWNING, AND AUDIENCE INTERACTION ” - LAURA SCRUGGS

ABOUT ME: I graduated with a BFA in Acting and Certificate in Creative Writing from UT Austin, where I was in several main-stage productions, regularly performed as part of two comedy improv teams, and created films, including my debut feature, Dear Leo, which premiered at InsideOut: Toronto LGBTQ+ Film Festival.

I have since moved back home to LA, where I studied sketch, improv, and clowning through The Second City and The Idiot Workshop. In 2023, I premiered my solo show THE KIDS MIGHT DIE (a tale told by an idiot) in a sold-out run at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. I have since toured this show to San Francisco, San Diego, Denver,  Edinburgh, and New Zealand, among other places! Awards include: Outstanding Actor (SD Fringe, Best of the Fest (LA Solofest), and Best of the Fest (Nelson Fringe.) I regularly write and create online content for American High’s comedy page @barelyadult.

I am passionate about character-driven, genre-bending comedy, and I am particularly drawn to queer and female-centered narratives. I also enjoy puppetry, roller skating, and playing the mandolin (poorly). I look forward to further pursuing my career in entertainment, and am always seeking out opportunities for collaboration with other artists. I regularly co-host the J.O. show in West Adams, and perform live frequently across LA!
